Encore Ghost - Treasure Trove #1.

The Blade of Bitterness - K-Clue Treasure Trove #2.

Where knives hum and spices rise like smoke, a son stirs dreams his father once broke. In the kitchen’s glow, where heat meets hurt, melodies simmer beneath the apron and dirt.

Follow the rhythm where recipes fade—

for a star is born in the shadows he made. Find the smoke to find the dream he hides—where heat stirs a voice longing to be heard. There, the K-Clue Treasure Trove waits

in the place where a chef’s flame burns brighter than his father’s praise. Listen close—ambition cuts deeper than any blade.

Mission 2 - This is your mission if you choose to accept it!

FIND OUT YOUR MISSION… AND UNCOVER THE BETRAYAL BEHIND THE MUSIC

MISSION 3 OVERVIEW

Mission 03: Your 3 Deliverables

Operation School Spirit: The Lesson Challenge

You are still undercover as trainees inside TopKPOP Academy, but this time your cover role places you in the spotlight: helping a local elementary school and rebuilding TopKPOP’s image after the sabotage scandal.

Your mission is to complete three deliverables using AI as your instructional partner.

1. Unpack a California ELA Standard Using AI

Choose one grade-level California ELA standard and use AI to unpack it into clear, teachable sub-skills.

The sub-skill you select will anchor your entire lesson.

2. Create an Interdisciplinary Lesson

Use AI to design a lesson that blends:

  • your selected ELA sub-skill
  • a Korean or Latin cultural dance tradition
  • at least three Korean or Spanish dance-related phrases students will use

This lesson is your contribution to “helping the community” — while quietly supporting the investigation and rebuilding TopKPOP’s reputation.

3. Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine

Joyce of BbCat — legendary maker of stars and creator of the BB Cat style — has created a special choreography just for Mission 3.

You will:

  • Perform the full routine yourself OR
  • Use AI to generate an avatar performing it
  • Submit your performance video when complete

Deliverable 01: Select and Unpack ELA Standard for Interdisciplinary Lesson

DELIVERABLE 3 — Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine (Avatars or Music Video)

Deliverable 01: Select and Unpack ELA Standard for Interdisciplinary Lesson

Up to 100 Points

DELIVERABLE 1 — Unpack a Grade-Level ELA Standard Using AI

(Worth up to 100 Points — Suggested)

Step 1: Choose Your ELA Standard (Your Grade Level Only)

Select one official ELA standard from the grade you teach — and make sure you reference the exact standard code and full text in your submission.

To support your thinking, you may:

  • choose any ELA standard from your grade level,
  • select one of your district’s Priority Standards,
  • use one of your team’s Guaranteed & Viable Standards, or
  • ask ChatGPT for help:
“Suggest ELA standards for Grade ___ that would work well with a cultural dance–themed lesson.”

✔ Example of a California 3rd Grade ELA Standard (RI.3.7):

RI.3.7 — Use information gained from illustrations (e.g., maps, photographs) and the words in a text to demonstrate understanding of the text.

This standard works beautifully with a multimedia dance lesson because it requires students to interpret visuals and connect them to text, just like analyzing cultural dance images, diagrams, or performance clips.

Copy the full standard (with the code) into your working document.

Step 2: Ask AI to Unpack the Standard

Paste your chosen standard into ChatGPT.

Prompt example:

“Unpack this ELA standard into clear, teachable sub-skills, including key verbs, student actions, vocabulary, and mastery expectations.”

AI will break the standard into smaller, teachable parts.

Save this unpacking.

Step 3: Select ONE Sub-Skill to Anchor Your Lesson

Choose the sub-skill that best fits an interdisciplinary dance activity.

Here are examples of strong sub-skills:

  • interpreting visuals (perfect for cultural dance images or video clips)
  • describing movement or sequences
  • identifying key ideas or details
  • explaining relationships
  • comparing cultural practices

Pick ONE sub-skill to use for Deliverable 2.

Step 4: Ask AI to Clarify or Refine Your Sub-Skill

If needed, ask:

  • “Explain this sub-skill for Grade ___ with examples.”
  • “Show how this sub-skill connects to cultural dance or movement.”
  • “Rewrite this sub-skill in student-friendly language.”

Save any refinements you generate.

Step 5: Finalize Deliverable 1

Your submission must include:

  • the exact ELA standard (with the standard number)
  • your prompt(s) to ChatGPT
  • the unpacked standard
  • the sub-skill you selected

This becomes the foundation of the lesson you will build in Mission 03.

Step 6: When you are finished doing this, please post on TikTok the unpacked standard and the sub-skill you will be using to create your lesson.

Be sure to tag @topkpopio so your submission can be reviewed.

Deliverable 02: Create an Interdisciplinary Lesson

DELIVERABLE 3 — Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine (Avatars or Music Video)

Deliverable 01: Select and Unpack ELA Standard for Interdisciplinary Lesson

Up to 100  Points for Option 1

Step 1: Review Your Selected Sub-Skill

Look back at the one sub-skill you chose in Deliverable 1.

This will be the literacy focus of your lesson.

Everything you design must help students practice and demonstrate this sub-skill.

Step 2: Choose Your Cultural Dance Connection

Select one culturally grounded dance tradition to anchor your lesson:

  • Korean options (e.g., Fan Dance, Talchum, Samgomu Drum Dance)
  • Latin options (e.g., Ballet Folklórico, Cumbia, Salsa)

This dance will serve as the content context for your ELA lesson — NOT as a dance class. Students do not need to perform the dance; they learn through the context of cultural dance.

Step 3: Select at Least Three Movement Phrases

Choose three dance-related words or phrases in Korean or Spanish that will appear naturally within the lesson.

Examples include:

  • Da un paso lateral — side step
  • Gira a la derecha — turn to the right
  • Sigue el ritmo — follow the rhythm
  • 부채 펼치기 (fan opening movement)
  • 리듬에 맞춰 — to the rhythm

These phrases should be meaningfully used during reading, writing, speaking, or analyzing dance visuals.

Step 4: Ask AI for Three Lesson Ideas

Tell ChatGPT:

“Give me three lesson ideas that teach this ELA sub-skill using my chosen cultural dance and these Korean/Spanish movement phrases.”

Choose one of the ideas or mix elements to create your own.

Step 5: Build Your Final Lesson Plan Using AI

Paste your chosen idea into ChatGPT and request a full lesson, e.g.:

“Turn this idea into a full lesson plan using the 5E model / Direct Instruction / PBL / Cooperative Learning.”

Your final plan must include:

  • your ELA sub-skill
  • the cultural dance context
  • at least three Korean or Spanish movement phrases
  • learning activities
  • vocabulary
  • an exit task or demonstration of understanding

Refine as needed: pacing, clarity, supports, extensions, differentiation.

Step 6: Save and Prepare Your Lesson for Submission

Your final Deliverable 2 submission should include:

  • your final AI-supported lesson plan
  • your selected cultural dance
  • your three Korean or Spanish movement phrases
  • the lesson format/model you used
  • any prompts you used with AI

⭐

Posting Requirement for Deliverable 2

When you are finished creating your lesson, please post on TikTok a short summary of your lesson and the cultural dance + phrases it includes.

DELIVERABLE 3 — Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine (Avatars or Music Video)

DELIVERABLE 3 — Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine (Avatars or Music Video)

DELIVERABLE 3 — Perform Team Dance: Joyce’s Custom Routine (Avatars or Music Video)

Worth up to 100 Points — Judged by Joyce of BbCat)

Step 1: Watch Joyce’s Mission 03 Choreography Video Joyce of BbCat — legendary maker of stars and creator of the BB Cat style — has created a dance   exclusively for Mission 03.

This routine is designed for performers dancing together with coordinated timing and formations.

Study her tutorial carefully.

Step 2: Learn All Required Steps as a Team

Your team must perform:

  • all of Joyce’s required steps,
  • in the correct order,
  • in a coordinated team format,
  • whether live, avatar-based, or hybrid.

Joyce’s choreography is mandatory and must be fully represented.

Step 3: Choose Your Team

Performance Format

Your team may choose ONE of the following performance types:

✔

Option A — Full Live Team Performance

Your entire team dances the routine together on video.

✔

Option B — Full Avatar Team Performance

Your team creates an AI-avatar performance of the routine.

The avatars must appear and move as a team, not as separate solo clips.

✔

Option C — Hybrid Team Performance (Live + Avatars Combination)

Your team produces a mixed-format video where:

  • some members perform live,
  • some are represented by avatars, and
  • every team member appears in the performance either as a live dancer or as an avatar.

This option allows teams to integrate creativity, technology, and personality — and is fully acceptable as long as the choreography remains accurate and team-based.

Step 4: Add Creative Flair (Optional Bonus Points)

After completing all of Joyce’s required choreography, your team may add:

  • signature moves
  • transitions or formation changes
  • stylistic endings
  • team energy touches

Joyce awards bonus points for creativity and team expression.

Step 5: Integrate Korean or Spanish Movement Language

Include at least three dance-related phrases in Korean or Spanish.

You may:

  • speak them aloud to introduce moves,
  • say them during transitions,
  • or display them as captions, stickers, or subtitles.

Spoken, written, or both — your choice.

Step 6: Record and Finalize Your TEAM Performance Video

Ensure your video clearly shows:

  • every team member, either live or as an avatar
  • Joyce’s full choreography
  • optional creative additions
  • at least three Korean/Spanish movement phrases
  • coherent team formations

If hybrid, blend the live and avatar clips smoothly.

Step 7: Post Your Team Dance to TikTok

When complete:

  1. Upload your video to TikTok
  2. Tag @topkpopio
  3. Use the caption: “Mission 03 — Team Dance Complete”

Your performance will be reviewed and scored by Joyce and the BbCat Review Council.

⭐

Scoring (1–100 Points)

Joyce will evaluate:

  • choreography accuracy
  • team cohesion (live, avatar, or hybrid)
  • synchronization and timing
  • use of Korean/Spanish phrases
  • creativity beyond required steps
  • overall performance quality
